The Italian Tribune

The Italian Tribune

The Italian Tribune was founded in 1909 by Vincent Giuliano. The paper was run by him and his wife Maria, until the 1960's when their grandson, Edward M. Baker, and his wife Marlene, took the helm as publishers. Since then their children Marilyn Borner and Pam White have continued the tradition of serving the Italian community.

Created as a voice for the Italian community, the newspaper now circulates throughout the tri-county (Oakland/Macomb/Wayne) Metro Detroit area. It is written in both English and Italian. There have been five generations of the same family involved in running the Italian Tribune.
